This book once read, becomes a thing of the past, a memory, and yet the concepts in it live on, in the sub conscious, where the perception of time and space is transformed, even though the physical space remains the same.
About the Architect:
An indian architect who has been fortunate enough to have worked with two of the modern masters of Architecture, Le Corbusier and Louis Isidore Kahn. All three architects have brought about notable changes in the developing countries, giving them a chance to be identified in the world.
Architect Balakrishna Doshi an academician and educator, designs with considerations of climate, traditions , the social customs and the philosophy of life of the people.
Designing with environmental and urban concerns make him unique, as both a thinker and teacher. His understanding of architectural scale and massing, as well as the clear sense of space and community, mark most of his work. making his work the most important models for modern Indian architecture.
